Marconi Early Learning Centre
A long day care centre for children from 2-6 years of age. Offering a full educational program based on the philosophy that children learn most effectively through play. The staff at Marconi Early Learning Centre value each child as an individual with his/her own personality, family and cultural background and value the diversity of the centre.
Hours of operation
Monday - Friday: 7:30am - 6:00pm
The centre is closed on Public Holidays and over the Christmas break.
Marconi Preschool provides:
- An environment that is safe, friendly and secure for all
- An environment which promotes learning via provision of developmentally appropriate practice, and stimulating activities for the development of needs, strengths, and interests of individual children
- Clear rules and standards by which each child should act. Each child will be aware of the limits which apply to his/her behaviour both individual and within a group situation
- Encouragement and positive reinforcement to promote positive self esteem and self worth with each child
- Support and education and if necessary, referral for parents
- Staff training
